NEW WEBSITE (actually, it’s just remodeled)

New Website
I have actually had time to remake my old website and found a program that I can actually use.  Wordpress is not as simple as click-and-drag, but it is close.  Short learning curve, but I was able to post pictures and a couple of videos, make links and setup a website that I can keep updated without much difficulty.

I spent a lot of time reentering old posts, which are duplicates on the Facebook page.  I will continue to copy the Facebook entries onto this site.

If you have any ideas or suggestions, please let me know.  Thanks for checking out the site.

Anaheim Marriott, Reception

Nice wedding venue.  Multiple ballrooms, so make sure you let your guests know the specific name of the ballroom.  I was at the reception to play music and provide audio equipment.  Also helped with the videographer with the slideshow.  The meal was an eight-course meal; music helps pass the time, so do varied slideshows.  The event also had their own MC, so I focused on the music throughout the night.

Services:  Audio, music, microphones, dance lighting (uplighting and pinspotting was provided by a different vendor)

The music was varied throughout the night, transitioning from conservative, light music to hard, dance and techno music.  Here is a rough outline of how the music went for the evening:
Classical
Jazz
60′s & 70′s
Mowtown
80′s & soft rock
Current pop (Dancing began with Gangnam Style)
Top 40
Disco
Old School Hip Hop
Top 40
Rap
I played to the crowd and to whoever was on the dance floor.  And everyone had a good time, including myself.

Congratulations Tam and Diana!

First Birthday, Cerritos

While DJing on Halloween, someone got my information and asked me to DJ for their daughter’s one-year birthday party.  The entire family enjoys music and dancing, so I don’t see why it would not be passed on to their daughter.

Happy Birthday Zoya!

Post-Halloween Party, Monrovia

A guest at a wedding enjoyed my music so much, she invited me to DJ at a post-Halloween party in Monrovia.  A bit of a drive after a day of work, but the view was spectacular and the guests were great.

Services: Music, dance lighting, uplighting, fog, lasers, black light

Thank you Joan!

Halloween, Huntington Beach, Music and Lighting

Back for my third year onto Canberra Lane in Huntington Beach.  I get hired to play music and get the kids excited.  I see it as an opportunity for the parents to have a moment of fun.  Rather than just going house to house, people take a couple minutes to have fun with random people; music becoming a common factor.  I took requests and I got some tips;  kids even dropped some candy in my bucket.

Another client down the street fed me and kept me quenched throughout the night.  Can’t think of another way to “work”.

Services:  Music, dance lighting, lasers, black light, uplights, fog machine

Summit House, Fullerton, Reception

A beautiful gem in Orange County.  Just a little past Cal State Fullerton, the Summit House offers grounds for a small ceremony and a nice area for a reception.  Large windows allow a great view from all tables.  A pleasure to help a military veteran for all he’s done for this country.

Services provided:  DJing, music, MC, projector, dance lighting, cake pinspotting

The couple were from different ethnic backgrounds and music was important to both couples.  There was a mix of Latin and Persian music throughout the night, along with the requisite contemporary pop music and 80′s music.

Congratulations David and Yasmeen!

High School Dance, Westminster

Helped out with a high school dance.  The music and lighting were all controlled by students.  The students practiced hard for the opportunity to play music for their peers.  It is a great learning experience as they learn about complete production of one event.Light towers

Praxis/Auto Gallery Car Show, Huntington Beach

A friend asked my protege and I to help DJ an event.  Most of the equipment came from another vendor.  A nice day to spend just listening to music.  A number of local car enthusiasts spent the day looking at and comparing cars.  They also had a few great food trucks; kept me satiated.
